Kawasaki launched experimental operation of the first gas turbine of its own development in 1972, and brought the gas-turbine-driven power generation unit to the market in 1976. Presently, the range of co-generation systems and combined cycle systems extend from 600kW to 50MW classes, and that of backup power generators extend from 200kVA to 6000kVA.
