Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler GmbH stands for highest competence in crankshafts. Since 100 Years over 8 million crankshafts have been produced. Our ready-to-install products from 0.5 m to 8 m in length are used in passenger cars, gen sets, ships, locomotives, construction machinery and many other specific applications. The forgings to produce large crankshafts are forged in our own closed die and press forge shop.

All operations starting from material testing, forging, heat treatment, pre-machining, surface treatment with induction hardening machines developed in-house, grinding, finishing, assembly of accessories and balancing are made in our plant in Aalen-Wasseralfingen. The medium-sized business with approx. 1,250 employees is a global player and the largest independent crankshaft manufacturer world-wide.
