Presentation of: GITE DES CINQ TOURS, 6 PERSONNES
At the foot of the ramparts of the medieval town of Sainte Suzanne, listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", this detached house combines the charm of a renovated old part with a contemporary wooden extension.
Sleeping up to 6 people, it offers comfortable accommodation in three beautifully decorated bedrooms.
Outside, you'll enjoy a terrace on stilts with direct access to the living room, as well as a second terrace at the bottom of the garden, equipped with a dining area and barbecue. The enclosed grounds provide a safe environment for children.
Please note: the gîte is located on the corner of Place Ambroise de Loré, on the edge of Route Départementale 7, just 60 metres from the pedestrianised area of the town and 80 metres from the Promenade de la Poterne.
Motorcyclists and cyclists will find a covered area to shelter their bikes.
Sainte-Suzanne, nicknamed "The Pearl of Maine", boasts a rich historical heritage: the Erves dolmen - the 11th-century keep, which resisted William the Conqueror - the 17th-century château, built for Fouquet de la Varenne, minister to Henry IV and Governor General of the Post Office - the Musée de l'Auditoire - the Grand Moulin and the English camp.
There are many cultural events throughout the year, and nature lovers will love the hiking trails that criss-cross the surrounding area. On foot, by bike or on horseback, explore the Tertre Ganne site or the Promenade des Moulins.
Nearby: The Saulges caves and their prehistoric site (17 km) - The Gallo-Roman town of Jublains (23 km) - The village of Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve, classified as a "Petite Cité de Caractère" (15 km) - The Moulin de Thévalles, a listed historic monument, with its mechanism dating from 1850 (20 km).
Shops and services available in Sainte-Suzanne, as well as art boutiques.
Business: 4 people maximum (housekeeping compulsory)
