Gite La Grange aux Grenouilles

A stay in the countryside in the heart of Anjou awaits you in this gîte built in an old barn typical of the Mauges dating from the 19th century. Completely renovated in 2021 with exposed stonework and beams, this gîte sleeps 6 and is spacious and bright. The large bay windows open onto the unenclosed garden and the unoverlooked terrace, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and its cows.

The barn has two bedrooms and a mezzanine (1 master bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and direct access to the terrace, then upstairs, 1 bedroom with two 90cm single beds that can form a large double bed and a double bed on the mezzanine).
A large open-plan living area comprises a lounge with television, a large dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, extra oven, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, induction hob).

A bathroom with walk-in shower and separate WC completes the ground floor. A washing machine is also available in the laundry room. Garden furniture, children's swing, sun loungers and barbecue are available to make the most of your stay, as is an outbuilding for storing your bicycles. Wifi internet connection, electricity and geothermal heating included.

The gîte has the advantage of being located in the centre of many tourist sites: the Parc Oriental de Maulévrier (Europe's largest Japanese garden, 20 minutes away), the Jardin Camifolia in Chemillé en Anjou (10 minutes), the Layon Valley and its vineyards (30 minutes), the Doué la Fontaine Biopark and its troglodytes, Clisson and also the Puy du Fou (40 minutes), etc.
