Presentation of: ROUTES DES VINS LOIRE SAUVAGE ET CORNICHE ANGEVINE

After visiting the Château d'Angers, head south to the banks of the Loire. After Bouchemaine and Savennières, you'll need to get off the beaten track to discover the magnificent Château de Serrant. Enjoy getting lost in its library and its millions of books, a real jewel for literature lovers.

The loop then leads to Montjean-sur-Loire, where you can climb aboard a traditional boat to discover the Loire. In Chalonnes-sur-Loire, a number of restaurants await you on the quayside, where you can dine with a view of the river. Opt for a dish of salmon with sorrel, accompanied by a glass of Savennières. You won't be disappointed!

In the surrounding area, don't forget to stop off at an estate to taste the wine and take home a bottle. On leaving the estate, it's time to head to Chaudefonds-sur-Layon for some Jelet-Mushing, an unusual activity. If you've already tried dog-sledding in the mountains, here you'll be transported to the vineyards! An unforgettable experience.
